Application Performance Management (APM) is a product by T-Systems which increases network and data performance in the WAN and guarantees transmission quality in the network. APM targets and optimizes application run-time by preventing duplicate transmission, for example. As a result, data communication is accelerated 20 to 50-fold. In order to guarantee quality of service, APM constantly analyzes the ICT infrastructure, reports if the system has reached specified limits and makes sure that countermeasures can be initiated in plenty of time.
